Most rooms are on the first floor. One workshop room is on the second floor.
There is a lift to the first floor and second floors and level access to all rooms once in the building.
There is a portable ramp to access the main entrance to the building. There is a small step. The entrance is monitored with CCTV from the staffed reception inside. Staff have said they will be looking for anyone requiring the ramp and will put the ramp out quickly when required.
Floors are wooden, not carpeted.
The door into the main room, the Theatre, is narrow. Specific widths of doors on the first floor are: The theatre door 780mm wide; Men’s toilet door is 760mm at its smallest width; Women’s toilet door is 770mm wide. There is a very tight turning circle to the toilets.
There is room to move around once through the doors and there will be paths suitable for wheelchair users between tables.
Seating will be available throughout the day and evening events.
We are looking into providing BSL interpretation this year, as part of the partnership with Bi Pride UK.
If BSL interpretation would help you access the event or if you have any other language or access requirements not listed here please email us as soon as possible at firstname.lastname@example.org

Quiet and prayer space
Participants at BiFest Wales / Bi Pride Local are welcome to come in and out of the venue as often as they want. There are no formal security measures or bag checks preventing re-entry between 12 noon and 6 pm. During the live alternative music gig re-entry is allowed until 10 pm, but may not be possible after 10 pm.
During the daytime event we also have a quiet and multi-faith prayer space between 1:15 pm and 5:45 pm. Anyone is welcome to use this space. Please respect other users and the nature of the space as a quiet and prayer space.
Other access requirements
If you have any access requirements not listed here please email firstname.lastname@example.org as soon as possible and at least 2 to 3 weeks before BiFest Wales / Bi Pride Local if at all possible and we’ll see what we can do. Accessibility is always a priority for Bi Pride UK and Bi Cymru / Wales. However, due to budget limits and practicalities we may not be able to meet every access requirement, especially at short notice.
Vegan, vegetarian, gluten-free, and vegan and gluten-free light refreshments will be available during the day.
There is a break between the daytime and evening events and a list of some of the local restaurants and food establishments is in the delegate pack.
If you have any specific dietary requirements please email us before we get refreshments arranged. Please note hot and cold soft drinks and biscuits and cakes are available, there will not be a buffet or full meal, as refreshments are included in the free entry and we aim to keep prices low so we don’t exclude anyone.
Email: email@example.com with specific dietary requirements and we’ll see what we can do.
Children and young people under 16 need to be accompanied by an adult, for the daytime event. Some workshops may not be suitable for children. These will be clearly labelled in the delegate pack. Attendance at any workshop or part of the event is parental advisory. There is a main social and stalls space during the day with a craft table and craft / drawing activities for children and young people.
All young people under 18 must be accompanied by an adult in the evening. Only the adult may go to the bar in the evening, even to purchase soft drinks. Some of the music contains explicit lyrics and is parental advisory.
Breastfeeding welcome throughout the venue.
There will be colouring books and craft activities for children and young people during the day.
Baby changing facilities are available in the men’s and women’s toilets on the first floor.
