BiFest Wales 2017
Saturday 13th May 2017

A one-day bi themed event for bisexual people, people attracted to more than one gender, friends, partners, families, allies and anyone bi supportive.

Daytime workshop, social and information event
Registration from 12 noon. First workshop 12:30pm. 6pm finish.
The Theatre, 1st Floor, Swansea YMCA, 1 The Kingsway, Swansea, SA1 5JQ

Daytime: £2 entry
Pay on the door only, no advance tickets.
Babies, children and young people under 16 welcome with a responsible adult. Under 16s get free entry
Includes refreshments throughout the daytime event.
Combined day and evening entry: £5 (under 16s free)

During the day there will be:

  • A set of workshops themed around bisexuality and related issues
  • A set of workshops themed around craft, games and getting to know other people
  • A craft space with materials
  • Bi and community information area
  • Meet and mingle social space
  • Refreshments
  • Raffle

The first workshops confirmed are:

  • All about bisexuality
  • Make your own cat ears or floral headband
  • Fitting and Mis-fitting in communities
  • Getting involved
  • Games
  • Bisexuality in Welsh history
  • Domestic Abuse and Bisexuality

Evening live alternative music event
Doors 7:30pm. Ends 11:30pm.
Live alternative music and DJs (punk, alternative, rock, metal and industrial styles)
£4 entry evening only or £5 day and evening.
Pay on the door only, no advance tickets.
Under 18s welcome with a responsible adult. Music may contain explicit lyrics, parental advisory.
Please bring ID if you look under 25 and only adults will be served at the bar.

The first three acts announced are:
Catherine Elms – dark cabaret singer-songwriter & pianist
Captain Meatshield – YouTube Gamer and Musician (metal)
DrakenWerks – Welsh Dark Electro / Industrial act

Plus DJs  between acts to keep you dancing and raffle.
